I'm generally pretty okay with a lot of things. However, with Fuuka, she might not be very willing with sexual themes or anything with a lot of intimacy. It depends on certain cases. Again, when all else fails, just ask!

BACKGROUND:

http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Fuuka_Yamagishi

When the SEES gang were first introduced to Fuuka, Akihiko had mentioned how she had the potential of becoming a Persona user. However, because of her poor health, they were worried if she could handle the stress of fighting. As time passed by, they were wondering what happened to the girl and thought she had gone home sick for the week. Truth was, she was trapped inside Tartarus because some bullies trapped her inside the gym overnight. At first, the members of SEES were wondering if she could survive being trapped inside the building for 10 hours. Regardless, they wanted to give it a try. After the male MC (Minato), Junpei and Akihiko found her, they were faced with the Emperor and the Empress shadows. At the same time, Natsuki managed to enter the building. Wanting to protect her, Fuuka summoned her Persona, Lucia, and helped the gang to defeat the shadows. After the ordeal, her classmates were talking about how she started the ghost rumors going around but Natsuki told her not to mind them.

Since then, Fuuka had been playing a supporting role for SEES and didn't have much of an impact on the story. However, when Fuuka learned that Natsuki was moving away midway through the game, she was shocked that her friend didn't tell her. That was because Natsuki didn't want to see her sad. From there, Fuuka told her about how her parents were pushing her to become a doctor because of their inferiority complex. Everyone in her family was a doctor except her parents and they wanted her to fulfill their wishes. There, she tells Fuuka that she should stop trying to please people all the time and that “if people don't like you, then screw them!” As she left, Fuuka took her advice and realized that she wanted to stay with her friends no matter what. With those words, her Persona evolved into Juno. For the rest of the game, she continued to be supported and tried her best to protect Minato against fighting Nyx. She, like everyone else, forgot what happened after the battle but managed to gain them back during graduation. With everyone, she ran towards the rooftop of the school like they had planned.

During FES, Fuuka continued to play the support role once more. With her ability, she was supposed to remain neutral when the party fought one another. However, unlike most of the cast, she did not make her choice right away and only sided with Aigis until she made her choice. As the series of events continued, she learned that she should reach out to people and help them. That way, more people would stop wishing for death and help Minato.

As a side note, it required Minato to max out his courage stats to go on Fuuka's social link. At the beginning, Fuuka wasn’t a good cook. The social link was about how Fuuka was learning to become better even though she might not be good at it. Midway through, she decided to cook rice balls instead. There, she slowly realizes that she should put more of her energy to what she truly enjoyed, technology. At the end of her social link, she gave Minato headphones she made and wanted to start a technology club right away. She wanted Minato to join and she was thankful for his help.

PERSONALITY:
Out of everyone in Persona 3, Fuuka's problems might be mundane but that doesn't mean that she didn't grow or develop into a person whom she could be proud of. Fuuka was just like Alice. She was a normal young woman who happened to stumble into a strange new world and perhaps the life she was meant for.

The first thing that the audience noticed about Fuuka was how much of a doormat she was. The thing that stood out about her early on was how she was being constantly bullied. While we may not know the extent, Fuuka never took any real action against those who had harmed her and just simply took it as it was. Later on, we also found out that her parents wanted her to become a doctor despite her wishes. After all, it was what they wanted and she just had to become one for their own sake. She was trying to meet her parents and people's expectations.

However, that wasn't all that there was to her. There are many things that make her stand out from the rest of the cast. Through the canon, it has been proven Fuuka is one of the most calmest members of the group to the point where it rivals the male MC. This was the same person who managed to walk ten hours into the Tartarus without getting caught and not panic. This was also the same person who managed to use her evoker with no problem compared to everyone else. Lastly, she also had no issue with experiencing shadows on a daily basis. In fact, the only two times she broke away from that calm nature was when Ken was lost and when Junpei was complimenting her.

It was also because of her calm nature that she often thought about her choices before she acted. An example would be early on when she decided to join SEES. While she wanted to move out of the house badly, it was clear that she had thought about her decision despite how obvious the answer was. It was because of her calm nature, she played support. If her comrades were in trouble, she would sometimes try to suggest what would best action for them in battle instead of quickly panicking. However, the most obvious example would be in The Answer arc. During that arc, when the group was deciding if they should go back to bring the male MC back or to move on without him, Fuuka was the only one who did not make anything definite. Instead, she said that she refused to fight any of her friends and wanted to stay neutral. Of course, after listening to everyone's stories, she finally went with Aigis simply because “It was the one I agree with the most.” It turns out, it was the right choice after all.

Another thing that makes Fuuka stand out is how surprisingly stubborn she could be. Once she has a goal in mind, she won't stop until she gets it. When she told the male MC that she would focus her attention on technology, Fuuka was determined to ignore her parents wishes. If she wanted to go into the field of technology, when why couldn't she? Some more examples would be when Mitsuru asked her to look into some information about her company and when Fuuka restored a CD for Yukari. It is a bit difficult to hack and dig through information but she knew that she could do it if she tried.

Another that makes Fuuka stand out is how quickly she is to forgive people. The most blatant example was how she befriended her former bully, Natsuki. Even when other people questioned her intentions, Fuuka didn't really seem to care. As long as she was able to spend time with her, then that was all that mattered. The reason why this was brought up was because of her friendship with Natsuki that made her into someone more confident. While the news of her best friend moving far away did make Fuuka sad, she also realized that it doesn't mean it was the end. All it meant was how precious her friend was to her and how she wished she stayed connected. It was then that she hoped that she could stay friends with everyone whom she met and how it would never end. The resolve transformed her Persona from Lucia to Juno.

Lastly, another thing that makes Fuuka stand out is her character development as a whole. From the beginning, she mentioned that she said she was found living in the dorms because it meant she could stay away from her parents. It meant that she could finally live the life she wanted and not live how they planned for her. Besides, she was gifted with a Persona that no other could use . For the first time in her life, she was needed. She might not have had a big impact in the canon but her time with her friends had shown her that she didn't need to live the life others wanted. She made a brief mention to Mitsuru about how she didn't seem to mind that she was doing something questionable, if it meant that she could do something for them, it should be fine. She had slowly started to become more confident in herself instead of having people judging her.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
In Persona 3, there are people who have the 'Potential'. It means they possess the potential to summon a Persona, beings that are like guardian figures to fight against beings called shadows. In this group called SEES, there are many people who are able to summon Personas but Fuuka’s a special one.

Juno, her Persona, doesn't fight in combat as it provides support. Fuuka can tell what the strengths and weaknesses of an enemy are. Fuuka can also sense life and she can tell where someone is depending on their location. Most of her abilities range from simply telling what the enemy is strong against and healing party members with each passing floor.

Another one of her abilities with Juno is that she can use Oracle. It is a random ability that has many features. It can either heal all your party's HP, heals all SP, fully heals both of them, cures any status ailments, or it can reduce all HP and SP to 1.

CHARACTER: AU SECTION
AU NAME: Fuuka Yamagishi
AU AGE: 18
PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES: Instead of teal hair, it'll be black. On top of that, her hair will be shoulder length. Everything else about her still remain the same.

AU HISTORY:

Fuuka grew up in California for most of her life and had a pretty quiet life. She was a happy girl who grew up having a lot of friends. While she wasn't quite as outgoing compared to her peers, she had a decent amount.

During her childhood, she was raised by both of her parents. Her father had been working as a computer engineer while her mother was a stay at home housewife. Due to this, Fuuka already had some conflict about what she wanted to be when she grew up. At a young age, she already knew that she was more interested in following her father's footsteps. However, her mother wanted her daughter to become a chief and be a more traditional Japanese woman. While that wasn't what she wanted, she simply followed her mother's words simply to make her happy. After all, when her mother was taking care of her, it seemed like the least she could do.

However, that didn't stop her from talking to her friends who were also interested in technology. More specially, they were more interested in video games. During her time in school, she would listen to them and explain what was the new trend of the day. Between regular playstation games to MMOs, she found it all amazing to hear them talk. One day, after a friend convinced her to get a regular portable game, she immediately fell in love with it. As she spent most of her days playing said game, she became more absorbed into its world. Sometimes, she forgets to help her mother out with cooking! Even though her mother doesn’t want her to, it would be rude to take away something she enjoyed.

When Fuuka was 7, that's when tragedy happened. One day, while she was attending school, she immediately got a phone call from her father. When she heard that her mother had been killed in a car. t accident, that's when things got complicated for her. Now that she no longer had a mother, her father was now her source of paternal guidance in life. On top of that, that's when her grandmother moved in to help with everything. It was a new situation for her and she was trying to adapt to everything.

For one thing, having her grandmother in the house meant that she had to do more chores. Since she was frail, Fuuka was forced to do a lot of things on her own sometimes. Between trying to clean the house and doing the laundry, it meant more time away from that world she once enjoyed. It gotten to a point where it felt like she was falling behind with her friends because she just couldn’t catch up on what was going on. It was enough to make her frustrated. While she loved her grandmother, there was some resentment because she just couldn’t handle what was going on. She even grew to resentment her mother because of the situation it brought on her. Despite her teachers and friends helping her out, it still felt like it wasn’t enough. Again, she knew they wanted to help but how could they when they were people who were outside of her family? The only person whom she could really talk to was her father.

During days when he didn’t have to work, he would make sure that she had all the attention. Sometimes, he would take her to amusement parks just so she didn’t have to think about anything for a moment. And yet, Fuuka couldn’t help but wonder if he was truly okay. When she finally asked if he was, that’s when he admitted that it was tough but as long as they were a family, things were going to be okay. In that moment, that’s when she also asked if it was okay for her to see his work. With a smile, he agreed.

When she finally got a look at his computer, she asked how difficult it was. He replied that it was but if she was willing to put enough hard work, she could do it. Feeling that her father had enough on his hands, she wanted to make him proud. Now that her mother was gone, maybe she could put all her energy into making him happier instead.

While Fuuka still had her emotional outbursts, it was becoming less frequent. As her teachers and friends started to notice how much happier she was. Now that she was focusing on trying to read as much books anything related to computers, she wanted to see just how much she could learn. One day, she even asked her friends how to start playing MMOs simply because she wanted to learn more about computers. Granted, she was 9 and her father disapproved but it was worth a try!

That was also when she started doing more household chores because if she did more, it meant more money to buy whatever she wanted. That was also when her relationship with her grandmother improved as well. Now that she was doing whatever it took to help around the house, she was able to become less frustrated and made sure she was happy too. After all, didn’t she lose a family member too?

When Fuuka was older, she started to play whatever video games she was allowed to. She found it interesting how a simple CD could hold so much information to computer graphics and they worked. In fact, she started reading anything about MMOs because of it! By the time she was 14, that’s when her father finally allowed her to start her world on online video gaming.

As the years passed, Fuuka’s hobbies of playing video games has started to slow down. Now that she needed to focus on getting into college, she wanted to make sure that she got one that has a good computer engineering program. While her father went to Recolle U, there was a problem. Now that her grandmother was growing older, she wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to move or not.

While her family had been willing to pay for her expenses, it still didn’t seem right. After spending a good night talking to her grandmother about what to do, it seemed like she made the decision for her. If it meant that Fuuka was going to get a good education, then so be it. With the choice being made, she promised her that she would call her every night to make sure that she was okay.

As she packed her bags, that’s when she started her new life in hopes of making her family proud.

AU PERSONALITY:

Compared to her counterpart, AU!Fuuka is a lot more outgoing and cheerful. Since she doesn't have her family telling her what to do, she's more confident in herself. On top of that, since it was her father and her grandmother raising her, she didn't have a very traditional household. Due to this, AU!Fuuka has a very western mentality and doesn't quite understand her Japanese heritage all that well. However, despite not being the traditional Japanese woman her mother wanted, it's not something that bothers her all that much.

In fact, in might challenge her a little since her father always told her to work hard in life and to never give up. While she had to do a lot of chores, it never really crossed her mind that it was something a girl should do. She figured it was something that simply had to be done.

In addition, it also never crossed her mind that being into computers was any different simply because she was a girl. It was her mother that wanted her to be a little bit different.

Speaking about her mother, compared to her game counterpart, she has some issue with her. While her game counterpart has some conflict with her parents, it's mostly just her mother in this universe. She still has some unresolved tension about what her mother wants out of her. At the moment, she couldn’t help but wonder if her decision to major in computer engineering was a good thing or not. Now that her mother was dead, there was no real way to argue with her. While it’s something she wanted, there’s still some guilt knowing that it might not be what she wanted.

However, it’s not something she thinks too much about. What matters right now is making sure that she just makes her father and grandmother proud. Especially when they helped so much during a difficult time.

….That and it would be a good way to indulge in her hobbies while studying.
